Video Transcript for Kay Bailey Hutchison - Reaction to New Building Announcement

Hi, I'm Kay Bailey Hutchison, a proud member of the UT Class of 1964. 
I want to take this opportunity to thank The Belo Foundation and the Derkert and Moroney families, 
direct descendents of George Bannerman Dealey - Founder of The Dallas Morning News, for donating 
fifteen million dollars to build the Belo Center for New Media on the UT Campus. Including it's 
twelve million dollar grand for this project, The Belo Foundation has awarded more than thirty-nine 
million dollars in grants since its founding in 1952.
This gift will make a state of the art new building possible for the benefit of UT's College of Communication.
The students across the entire UT Campus will benefit. I'd like to congratulate Dean Hart and everyone at 
The College of Communication for their hard work on this project and I look forward to visiting the new building on campus.
