Exporting Audio in the .omf format from Final Cut Pro

To export audio from a clip or sequence in the OMF format:

    1. Select a clip or sequence in the Browser or open the sequence in the Timeline.

    2. In the Timeline, click the Track Visibility button next to each audio track you want to export. graphic

    3. Choose File>Export>Audio to OMF.

    4. In the OMF Audio Export dialog, choose 48 Khz, 30frames of handles and choose not to include crossfade transitions, then click OK.

    5. Choose a location and enter a name for the file and save.

    6. FCP will begin exporting the audio to that location.
