Final Cut Pro - Exporting to Final Cut Pro Movie

When you have finished your project it is very easy to export your finished work as a Final Cut movie. There are many reasons why you might want to do this.

    • To have an archived copy of your movie.

    • To fix any audio sample rate problems (the process will re-sample audio if you have any mixed audio sample rates.

    • To encode your movie for web streaming or DVD.

To export your project:

    • Select your sequence in your Project Folder in the Browser

    • Select Final Cut Pro menu > File > Export > Final Cut Pro Movie...

This will export a DVstream movie out of Final Cut which mean that it will condense your project into one video track and two audio tracks.
