Please pardon our mess as we further expand CMA 5.154 to be able to consolidate all of the Help Desk staff into one unit. We are currently split between two areas, the 5th floor of CMA and the 7th floor of the CMB building. Consolidating our personnel and resources near other tech groups like CoComm Creative and the Media Center will allow for better communication, more efficient workflow and a greater team experience. When completed, the newly remodeled area of CMA 5.154 will house the front desk, storage, and five full time Help Desk employees with individual and shared workspaces.
The CMA 5.154 entrance across from the elevators will be locked for the most part during this construction phase. The Help Desk has been temporarily moved to CMA 5.124. To reach the CoComm Creative group, use their alternate entrance at the end of the southeast hallway on the 5th floor of CMA. A map is posted on the window of CMA 5.154 showing the temporary directions.
We had hoped to have this project completed by the start of the new fall semester but realistically it may extend into the first week or so of September depending on construction progress. We hope the noise and dust are not too much of an inconvenience through this month of August.
An open house will be arranged once the project is done but as always, feel free to come by and say hello once we are moved in.

The latter three have endured temporary work spaces off and on for over a year. I would especially like to thank Mark Tremayne, School of Journalism. Mark's move to his new office in CMA 7.224 made this whole remodel possible.
