About Us

UT Votes is a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin that invites undergraduates campus wide to increase electoral participation and create more voters and better citizens. Each election cycle, UT Votes, in partnership with the Annette Strauss Institute, organizes and coordinates Get Out the Vote activities including registration booths, deputization sessions, and campus competitions.

Taylor is a Sophomore Liberal Arts major. This is his second semester at UT and enthusiastically serves as our new Chair.

Sonia is a junior History major from El Paso, Texas. This is her second semester as a part of UT Votes and her dedication to our mission is an important contribution to our organization.

Volunteer Coordinator:

Na is a junior in the College of Natural Sciences. Although Na is not a US citizen and cannot vote herself, she is committed to the importance of engaging her fellow students in the electoral process.
