American Trustees Receives Film Honor The American Trustees Project is the recipient of a Bronze Statuette in Education and information at the Columbus International Film Festival, known as "the Chris Awards." "We are incredibly proud to have received this honor," notes project manager Debbie Wise. it really speaks to the quality of the film and the hard work of our director Nancy Schiesarri." The award comes on the heals of selection of the American Trustees Project documentaries to air on KLRU television. The American Trustees Project creates short documentaries on ordinary citizens achieving extraordinary things. CDOR completes Vermont Project (Link to Boston Globe Article) The Center for Deliberative opinion research has completed its report for the State of Vermont Department of Public Service. CDOR held a deliberative polling event in November of 2007 with over 150 participants in which people were invited to learn more about energy issues and express their feelings about them. "People place a high value on efficiency, they support renewables as a source of energy and they're very interested in in-state generation of power," David O'Brien, commissioner of the DPS, said he saw as three of the survey effort's most important findings.
