Dennis Darling

Celebrating his 65th birthday, School of Journalism Professor Dennis Darling thought it would be fun to send friends and family a weekly email with a different photo from his 40-year photography career.

One week, subscribers received a photo of Swedish circus performers from the 1970s. Another week, fans received a photo from a 1998 Cajun Mardi Gras celebration.

This summer, Darling led the Prague Photojournalism Maymester Abroad Program, which focused on documentary photographic techniques and aesthetic principles. Students also learned about the art, architecture, film and history of the Czech Republic.
