The UT College of Communication Digital Media Labs offer students access to world-class non-linear audio and video workstations.
The Digital Media Labs are available for the exclusive use of students who are currently enrolled in courses in the College of Communication and are working on class-related digital media production projects. Faculty, please contact us to see how we can help with your instructional digital media needs.
Access to workstations is by first-come, first-served reservation only. Signup sheets are posted outside the labs every Wednesday. Each week, students may sign up for 4 daily blocks of up to 4 hours (4 hours max per day).
All workstations in the Digital Media Lab feature:
Sony DSR-11 DV/DV-CAM VTR.
Broadcast Quality Monitor (NTSC/PAL switchable),
DVD-R burner, and headphone amplification for up to 4 users.
