Studio 4B is a multi-platform environment (Macintosh & Windows) geared towards multimedia applications, research and development. AVID Xpress Pro is the featured video editing software. Softimage XSI, Macromedia suite of multimedia tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and ProTools LE are the main applications available for student use. Word processing and database type office work is done through Microsoft office. Producing classes utilize Entertainment Partners Budgeting and Scheduling software. Final draft is also installed in the lab for scriptwriting students.
Student internet needs (web browsing, FTP, news, and email) are also available. In addition, laser printing can be provided in black & white and files can be saved via zip, Webspace or CD/DVD. Temporary storage is also available through a class server.
