Live, Study, Intern in the Entertainment Capital of the World, info sessions week of March 23
Event: Phil Nemy, executive director of the University of Texas Los Angeles Center, will be in Austin to conduct information sessions about the Semester in Los Angeles program and answer questions about academic requirements, coursework, internships, residence life, tuition and scholarships. All majors are welcome.

Where: The Lady Bird Johnson room in the College of Communication, the Flawn Academic Center and the Music Building/Recital Hall.
Background: The Semester in Los Angeles Program enables University of Texas at Austin undergraduate students with career interests in entertainment to live, study and intern in the entertainment capital of the world.
Offered in the fall, spring and summer semesters, the program provides up to 12 upper division academic credits through classes and internships. While preference is given to students in the College of Communication, space is available each semester for students outside the College. Enrollment in this fee-based program is limited to 48 students per semester.
