One of Advertising Age’s “Women to Watch” Speaks to Students as Part of Thought Leadership Speaker Series, Nov. 20

Event: Liz Ross, CEO of Tribal DDB North America, will speak to students about interactive advertising as part of the Department of Advertising’s Thought Leadership in Advertising Speaker Series.

When: 2 p.m., Nov. 20, 2008

Where: Avaya Auditorium in the ACES Building on The University of Texas at Austin campus.

Background: In June Liz Ross was named CEO of Tribal DDB North America and Global Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, she is responsible for the North American operations and functions as the Global “face” of the Tribal DDB brand. Liz is responsible for more than $90 million in revenue and 500 employees and contributes to the overall strategic direction of the global operation.

Liz has more than 15 years of experience in branding, consulting, and traditional and interactive marketing. She has worked across multiple industries and verticals, including automotive, financial services, pharmaceutical, consumer products, travel, retail and technology.

She is a sought-after speaker and was named one of Advertising Age’s “Women to Watch” in 2008.
