Event: Seven of the finest student films produced in the Department of Radio-TV-Film at The University of Texas at Austin will be showcased at the 2008 Hollywood Showcase.
This year’s films include:

• Molly Green – “That’s Not Funny: Case Studies In Bad Jokes”
• Chris McInroy – “Capture Claus”
• Ryan Parma – “One More Game With You”
• Anthony Penta – “You Ruined Everything”
• Nazanin Shirazi – “Red Wendesday”
• Gaby Yepes – “Danzak”

7 p.m. pre-reception
8 p.m. screening
9:30 p.m. post-reception
Where: Directors Guild of America Theater, Hollywood, Calif.
Background: Each year, the Department of Radio-TV-Film handpicks some of the best undergraduate and graduate works, some of which have been screened at film festivals around the country and recognized with industry awards, to screen for University of Texas at Austin Loa Angeles alumni and professionals in the entertainment industry.
