Perspectives on deaf legal advocacy panel, Feb. 15

Students Advocating Deaf Awareness (SADA) is holding a panel discussion on the deaf experience inside and outside the courtroom.

    • Lucy Wood, attorney, Advocacy, Inc.

    • Randi Turner, communication access specialist, Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services

Background: SADA is an organization at The University of Texas at Austin with the goals of educating its members and the public about deafness, volunteering with the deaf community and uniting individuals sharing an interest in deafness.
