Thinking About Graduate School? Enroll In A Pre-Graduate School Internship! through April 30

Event: Intellectual Entrepreneurship Pre-Grad School Internship

Date: Advising and Registration Week

Details: Open to undergraduates in all University of Texas colleges and schools (CMS164M, 264M, or 364M), this internship is an opportunity for bright students to work closely with a graduate student mentor. Throughout the semester, the intern will discover those unique aspects of graduate study that make it distinct from the undergraduate experience, e.g., conducting research, serving as teaching and research assistants, participating in seminars, etc. The mentor and the intern determine the internship projects and assignments collaboratively.

Because of the generosity of several University of Texas deans, undergraduates who do their pre-grad internship in programs in the following colleges will be eligible to receive travel grants to help cover part of the cost of attending an academic conference (with their grad mentor): law, public affairs, communication, engineering, liberal arts, pharmacy, social work, education, natural sciences and fine arts. Grad mentors also are eligible for travel assistance.
