Honors Day 2007
College of Communication Convocation
Date: Friday, March 23, 2007

Details: The celebration will begin with a catered banquet, followed by a special address by Donna Krache, executive producer of CNN Student News and Turner Learning, who is the 2007 recipient of the DeWitt Carter Reddick Award.
In addition to honoring our outstanding students, we will honor the 2007 College of Communication Outstanding Alumnus, filmmaker Bruce Hendricks, as well as the College of Communication Staff Excellence Award winners and the James W. Vick Texas Excellence in Academic Advising Award winner. The festivities will conclude with the recognition of this year’s College and Distinguished Scholars.
Eligible students will receive invitations for the event and must RSVP in person Feb. 26 - March 9 in CMA 4.140. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will receive your event admission tickets upon RSVP (maximum three tickets per student). Seating is limited for the College of Communication Honors Day Convocation. Admission tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis upon RSVP in person in CMA 4.140. There will be no admission to the Convocation without a ticket. If you are unable to attend the College of Communication event, Honors Day packets (which include honors certificates and medallions) will be available for pick-up in OSA, CMA 4.140, beginning Monday, March 26th.
