Honors Day 2006 Convocation
Saturday, April 8 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
College of Communication Honors Day Convocation on Saturday, April 8, 2006.
The celebration will begin with a catered brunch, followed by a special address by this year's guest speaker, Nicholas Lemann, Dean of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and the 2006 DeWitt Carter Reddick Award recipient. Along with honoring our outstanding students on this day, we also will recognize the recipients of the 2006 College of Communication Staff Excellence Awards and the James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award for Academic Advising.
Eligible students will receive e-mail invitations for the event and must RSVP in person March 20-31 in CMA 4.140. Tickets for event admission will be given to students upon RSVP.
