Japanese Media Mixes and the Cultural Politics of Childhood

Gender and Technology Speaker Series brings together leading scholars to address the gendered implications of new technologies.

Cultural anthropologist Mizuka Ito will present: "Japanese Media Mixes and the Cultural Politics of Childhood." She hails from the University of Southern California and Keio University in Japan and conducts research on children and youth's changing relationship to media and communication.
