Beyond the College of Communication-sponsored programs, many other international programs are also available through UT’s Center for Global Education Opportunities (CGEO). Please read the Guide to Study Abroad in the College of Communication section of this site for step-by-step instructions on how to incorporate a study abroad experience into your studies in the College of Communication.
Below is a sampling of programs that will be of special interest to Communication majors.

Study Journalism at Sciences Po in Paris, France. This one semester spring exchange program, taught in English, provides students with the intellectual background and critical perspective to understand and analyze contemporary news, and focuses on journalism techniques and practical exercises. French language classes are also available. Applicants must have at least 2 semesters of French, or the equivalent, by the program start date.
The Journalism school is located in the Odéon area, near St. Germain des Prés in the heart of Paris. Deadline to apply: October 1. Search UT CGEO’s searchable online database under exchange programs in France (program code 090032), and contact Lia Haisley in the CGEO for more information.

UT Normandy Scholar Program on World War II
Students enroll in a series of special courses during the spring semester, followed by a three-week tour of WWII-related sites in Europe (Normandy, Paris, and Berlin, with an option to visit London). This program is open to undergraduates from all majors on campus.
