Applying to graduate

How to apply to graduate will vary depending on how you intend to complete your final degree requirements:

* If you will take your remaining degree requirements here at UT, you need to apply to graduate online beginning on June 5, 2008.

The deadline to apply to graduate is July 18, 2008.

You must be registered for all of your remaining degree requirements before you may apply.

APPLY TO GRADUATE
Available June 5 – July 18, 2008

* If you intend to take your remaining degree requirements at another school (such as ACC), you will need to apply to graduate In Absentia. To do this you will need to contact the Office of Student Affairs (CMA 4.140, 471-1553), ask for the necessary forms and return them BEFORE JULY 18, 2008 (in other words, don't wait too long). However, we will not allow you to apply to graduate until we have seen that you have completed the course(s). This means you need to turn in to the OSA an official transcript from that school before you may ask for the necessary forms. Also, to register In Absentia you must not have any bars on your record, so remove these before contacting the OSA. If you have any questions, contact us at the above phone number or set up an appointment to see an advisor.

* If you intend to take your remaining degree requirements by correspondence or extension, please contact the OSA (CMA 4.140, 471-1553) about how you may apply to graduate In Absentia next semester.

Please contact the Office of Student Affairs to visit with an advisor for degree planning and check the degree requirements section of the website for more information.
