Career advising sessions provide you an opportunity to visit with a professional career advisor and discuss a variety of career-related topics from your career options and your resume, to your job or internship search and your interviewing skills. Career advising sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour and are tailored to meet your specific needs and priorities. Career advising is available to CCS registrants only.
CCS offers three types of career advising services: One-on-One Career Advising by Appointment; Drop-In One-on-One Career Advising; and Group Advising Sessions.
To schedule a one-on-one appointment with CCS career advisors, stop by our offices in CMA 3.102 or call us at 471-9421. One-on-one advising sessions are typically 30 minutes to one hour in length.
One-on-One Advising: Available year-round by appointment only
Drop-in advising is available during the fall and spring semesters, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop-in advising appointments are limited to 15 minutes.
Drop-In Advising: Tues-Wed-Thurs from 2:00-4:00 pm during the fall and spring semesters.
Group resume advising sessions are offered Monday and Friday during the fall and spring semesters and can accommodate up to five students per session. To sign up for a group advising session, stop by our offices in CMA 3.102 or call us at 471-9421.
Group Resume Advising: Is available Monday@ 1:00 pm and Friday@ 11:00 am during the fall and spring semesters by appointment.
