Each year between 50-60 employers come on-campus to recruit students from the College of Communication for internship and job opportunities. These employers typically represent large corporations and retailers seeking sales and management trainees; advertising and public relations firms and newspapers seeking entry-level employees and interns; non-profit organizations seeking interns and contract professionals; and consulting firms seeking entry-level analysts.
In general, entertainment industry companies, broadcast media, government agencies, and small to mid-sized businesses do not recruit on campus to fill vacancies, though they do post job and internship opportunities and request candidate resumes through CCS and via AccessUT.
