Spring 2010 Communication Job & Internship Fair

Communication Career Services invites you to join us for the Spring 2010 Communication Job & Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, from 12:00 to 5:00 pm in the Texas Union Ballroom.
The Spring 2010 Communication Job and Internship Fair provides organizations the opportunity to meet UT-Austin students and alumni interested in post-graduate employment and internship positions.
Registration and Fees
Registrations will be accepted until March 24, 2010. Late registrations will only be accepted if space is still available.
Corporate – $300
Government and Non-Profit – $175
If you are a member of one of the following associations, you are eligible for a $25 discount:
- International Association of Business Communicators
- Austin Advertising Federation
- Public Relations Society of America
- Association of Women in Communications
- Texas Association of Broadcasters
What is included?
The standard fee includes one 8'x8' booth with a table and table cloth/skirting, and lunch for two recruiters. Up to two additional recruiters may attend for a supplemental fee of $25 per recruiter. There is a limit of four recruiters per booth.
Also, if you register by March 1, 2010, wireless access is included. Any registrations received after March 1, 2010, will not receive wireless access, so register early!
Should you need electricity, let us know as soon as you register as we have limited outlets available. Organizations may bring convention displays for their table as well as publications and other materials for distribution. (Please keep in mind that the displays must fit into your assigned 8'x8' booth area.)
How do I register?
Please register for the fair through CareerSource with a few easy steps:
- Log in
- Select “Career Events”
- Choose the “Spring 2010 Job and Internship Fair.” Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.

Cancellation Policy
For a full refund: A written cancellation request – fax, email, or postal mail – must be received in the CCS office by 5:00 pm CST on March 23, 2010.
Cancellation requests received on or after March 24, 2010, will not be honored.
