Pulitzer Prize Winners

The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication boasts 20 Pulitzer Prizes. Among the College’s former students there are 18 winners of Pulitzer Prizes. Three former students, Larry C. Price, Carolyn Cole and Jean-Marc Bouju have won the award twice.

The Pulitzer Prize is awarded by Columbia University in New York City, for outstanding public service and achievement in American journalism, letters and music. The prizes were originally endowed by newspaper magnate, Joseph Pulitzer, and have been awarded since 1917.
