David M. Weeks

David M. Weeks (Austin, TX) With more than 30 years of experience in consulting, David Weeks has advised Fortune 500 companies, handled media and public relations in numerous media markets and participated in campaigns ranging from city council to the United States Senate. A graduate of The University of Texas, Weeks holds a degree in journalism and currently serves or has served on such boards as the Advisory Council/Executive Committee of the College of Communication, McDonald Observatory Board of Visitors and Ex-Students Association of The University of Texas. Weeks was appointed by then Governor George W. Bush to the Texas Quarter Dollar Coin Advisory Committee to help create and design the new Quarter Dollar for the State of Texas.

Weeks participates on the Advisory Committee to the Texas Legislative Conference and is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants, often winning the AAPC’s National Pollie Award. A former gubernatorial press aide and speech writer, Weeks frequently serves as guest lecturer at The University of Texas, speaking on a variety of issues regarding his profession and political clients. In 1983, Weeks was named one of the Rising Stars in Texas by Texas Business.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Weeks&Co was founded in 1981 and is among the most experienced corporate and political communication firms in the country.
